The DS-30-DIA HDT is the successor of the very successful DS-30 DIA 3-ph and has the same "aerodynamic genes" as its predecessor. It converts the shaft power of the motor very efficiently thus providing very high thrust in the whole speed range. Once again the all-molded DS-30-DIA HDT with its high efficiency and improved cooling system sets the benchmark in the 69mm ducted fan class. Since early 2009 all HDT-fan units are produced with ultra high modulus-CRP reinforced shrouds.  

 A special feature of this fan is the short and ultra-lightweight carbon-aluminium-diagonal-rotor unit running resonance- and vibration free. The smooth performance of this rotor enables us to build this ducted fan with a very low tip clearance, thus increasing the total efficiency even more.

 All ducted fans of the DS-XX-DIA HDT series come fully assembled, fine-balanced and quality-checked, you simply have to install your motor and the system is ready to fly. These fans give the ultimate performance.  They are hand made in Germany and go through vigorous testing and inspection before shipping.
